review:
1 Star!
If I could give this book less than 1 star I would! That's how much I disliked the story and its douchebag of a hero. Good Lord! I've never hated a hero as much as I hated Ridge! There was not one single redeemable quality about his character. I knew what I was getting into when I started this book (I wanted to see if the author could redeem Ridge's character from the first book), but I had no idea how disgusted this story would make me feel.
I will not waste my time writing a full review for this book, but aksana’s review and Vallskyes's review sum up my feelings perfectly. Caution: Both reviews contain spoilers. Beware!

review:
Looks like I'm the only one who didn't like this book.
His Sugar Baby is melodrama with a capital M.
The hero is a jerk. He frequently demeans and humiliates the heroine, making sure she know her place is only as his whore and nothing more. To top it off, we find out he lied to the heroine and is married (at least he doesn't live with his wife). That pretty much killed the book for me. Although he redeemed himself in the end, by that point I just didn't care. As for the heroine, she began as a very sympathetic and likable character. Unfortunately, she showed a lack of maturity and a spiteful attitude by denying the hero, regardless of his actions, the right to know she carried his child.
I did enjoy the relationship between Cathy and her daughter. It was touching, emotional, and brought tears to my eyes. Having said that, it's hard to recommend a book when you dislike and are frustrated with the two main characters.
